Experiences & Accomplishments
I am a trained public health professional and social scientist who has a passion for the intersection between food systems education and practice. As the key contact for the Center for a Livable Future’s education activities, I strive to assist students with their academic programs and connect them to community partners for practicums, field experiences, and job opportunities. I also have substantial experience doing community-based mixed-methods and qualitative research, with focus areas including volunteering at farms, the quality of life of older adults, and drug use and services. My goal is to create synergies between education, practice, and research.
