Hima Patel, MSPH, is a Research Associate with the Johns Hopkins Center for American Indian Health (CAIH), where she works on their reproductive health programs. Her past work includes experiences working in federal government at the Department of Health and Human Services at the Administration for Children and Families (HHS ACF) and at the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) as a Global Health Fellow, as well as non-profit work in Lima, Peru. Her passion is using community based participatory research (CBPR) and grounded qualitative research to work with communities to develop meaningful community driven programs, specifically in the reproductive health field.
