Since May 2015, I have been serving as Chief Epidemiologist at the Baltimore City Health Department (email firstname.lastname@example.org, 410-361-9580). I joined the faculty of the Department of Epidemiology in 2009, and I have joint appointments in the Department of Health, Behavior and Society and the Zanvyl Krieger School of Arts and Sciences. I co-teach the introductory epidemiology course for the Johns Hopkins Undergraduate Program in Public Health Studies. My interests in public health practice focus on applied epidemiology. My research interests center on cancer prevention services, particularly in the context of cervical cancer. I have held prior positions with the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, the New York Academy of Medicine, and the Rockefeller University.
