Bangladesh

In collaboration with Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research, JHSPH researchers conducted formative research to generate information on the willingness and acceptability to take mobile phone surveys in Bangladesh. The team also conducted user-testing and evaluated the feasibility of conducting nation-wide mobile phone surveys and the role of incentives in increasing response rates. Current work involves comparing reliability of different MPS modalities (CATI vs IVR), reasons for non-response, and testing strategies to increase participation of under-represented groups such as females and older.
