Fall Institute in Health Policy and Management

About This Program

The Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, and the Agència de Salut Pública de Barcelona, with the collaboration of the Universitat Pompeu Fabra, are pleased to announce the 20th Annual Johns Hopkins Fall Institute in Health Policy and Management, offered in November 2023 onsite in Barcelona, Spain.

The Institute provides a unique opportunity for public health students and professionals to take short-term, intensive educational courses and workshops in a variety of public health disciplines. It is jointly sponsored by the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, and the Agència de Salut Pública de Barcelona (Barcelona Public Health Agency). With the collaboration of the Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona, Spain, the Institute serves as a convenient venue for public health professionals to begin or enhance their education with a focus on key health-policy issues. Participants will explore current innovations, tested approaches to management and leadership, and different strategies for effective policy implementation.

Courses may be taken not-for-credit or for graduate academic credit. They are equivalent to regular term graduate-level Bloomberg School courses.

All courses are taught in English (except for specific workshops as noted).
