Why I Chose Hopkins

I chose Hopkins for some of the traditional reasons - because of the rigor of the academic programs, the national reputation, and the opportunities and resources provided for students. But I mostly chose Hopkins because of the ability to really fine-tune my academic interests while surrounded by diverse but also like-minded individuals, who all believe that public health is not only a public good, but should be the right of all.
