Other Practice-Related Resources
A variety of practice-related resources outside of HBS are available.
- The school's Office of Public Health Practice and Training provides a variety of practice-related resources for students, faculty and staff, and public health professionals around the world.
- At the school-wide level, the Student Outreach Resource Center (SOURCE) helps provide students with multiple community service opportunities in Baltimore, as well as the Public Health Applications for Student Experience (PHASE) internship, a non-paid, for-credit internship program sponsored in partnership with the Maryland Department of Health & Mental Hygiene (DHMH) and the Mid-Atlantic Public Health Training Center (MAPHTC).
- SOURCE has finalized a series of three online modules that help to prepare individuals to work with communities. Faculty who teach service-learning courses will require students to complete the modules before partnering with a community. Each module includes a quiz at the end; certificates of completion can then be shared with faculty/TA's as proof of completion.
