Support the Next Generation of Epidemiologists
2019 marks a century of Epidemiology at Hopkins. During the last 100 years, the Department has been at the forefront of major public health advances that have shaped public health policy, including:
- efforts to develop the polio vaccine
- research to understand, prevent and treat HIV/AIDS
- documenting and combatting the negative health consequences of secondhand smoke
Our students are integral to fulfilling our mission of improving the public's health by advancing knowledge concerning the causes and prevention of disease and the promotion of health. They are the next generation of epidemiologists who will take on the most pressing future public health challenges.
In honor of the Department of Epidemiology's Centennial, consider a gift that will help support the education and training of our students as they prepare for a public health career, built on epidemiologic principles and methods. Your contribution will help ensure the continued success of Epidemiology at Hopkins for the next century and beyond.
Contributions in honor of the Department's Centennial can be made through the online giving form. Complete the form as required and under "Gift Amount Designation" please select "Other" and enter "Epidemiology Centennial Education and Training Fund."
