DR. RYAN HOBBS FROM THE COULOMBE LAB RECEIVED A CAROL ELIASBERG MARTIN SCHOLARSHIP

Dr. Ryan Hobbs, a postdoctoral fellow in the laboratory of Dr. Pierre Coulombe, was recently awarded the Carol Eliasberg Martin Scholarship from The Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. This award is given to an outstanding student or postdoctoral fellow whose research focuses on the prevention of cancer that affects women. Additionally, Dr. Hobbs recently received first place in the basic science category of the Fellow Research Day Poster Session through the Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center. Dr. Hobbs has been researching the role of keratin proteins in the initiation and promotion of skin and cervical cancers.
