Founded in 1917, the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (BMB) attracts students from all over the country and around the world—each contributing in a unique way to a dynamic learning environment on the cutting edge of biochemistry and biology research.  

The Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology  offers a Master of Health Science (MHS) degree, a Master of Science (ScM) degree, a doctoral (PhD) degree in biochemistry and molecular biology and opportunities for postdoctoral training.
