Do you want to learn more about the policies that inform programs and enable millions of women around the world to plan their families?
Introduces the strategic development, organization, and management of nationally-organized, voluntary, family planning programs in low-income countries. Covers the rationales that are advanced for national family planning policies and programs; using data to identify possible policy interventions; and the role of evidence, ethics, and stakeholder priorities in the development of family planning policies and programs.
- Learning Objectives:

Upon successfully completing this course, students will be able to:
- Articulate the different rationales used to promote and sponsor nationally-organized family planning programs
- Identify policy, interventions and gaps based on review of family planning data
- Discuss the role of evidence, ethics, and stakeholder priorities in the formulation of family planning policies
- Describe quality of and innovations in family planning programs
