Explores and debates theoretical concepts and orientations in the social and behavioral sciences and their application to public health research and practice through readings, discussion, and writing assignments.
- Learning Objectives:

Upon successfully completing this course, students will be able to:
- Critically discuss theoretical concepts and orientations in the social and behavioral sciences
- Present syntheses and critiques of foundational social and behavioral science texts
- Develop a theoretically driven argument in the form of an original essay or manuscript
