How do we identify the environmental health problems through critical review of impactful scientific topics? What is the up-to-date knowledge in physiology and toxicology? What are the state-of-art technologies applied for environmental health studies?
Reviews the unique and advanced topics in toxicology and physiology. Presents students with guidelines for understanding the basic knowledge as well as the advanced methodology in toxicology and physiology. Prepares students to be able to identify the environmental health problems and present the critical reviews on the original peer-review papers in selected topics.
- Learning Objectives:

Upon successfully completing this course, students will be able to:
- Critically review experimental designs, methods, data presented and conclusions drawn in selected published papers
- Orally present clear, critical summaries of assigned papers
- Know how to formulate and ask critical questions following oral presentations by others
- Able to identify the current trends in toxicology and physiology studies
- Demonstrate skills needed to write critical reviews on selected topics
