Presents health survey design; sampling methodologies; questionnaire construction and administration; interviewing; coding procedures;. Intended for advanced students.
Learning Objectives
Upon successfully completing this course, students will be able to:
  1. develop, test, revis, and administer a questionnaire
  2. aplly appropriate multi-stage sampling methods for community-based surveys
  3. document study procedures specific to survey development and implementation
  4. discuss ethical issues of survey research
