Letter from the Director
Jimmie Lou DeBakey, Director of Constituent Relations
After twelve years at the helm of the Bloomberg School of Public Health, we are getting ready to say farewell to Mike Klag in his capacity as dean. I’ve seen how he grew the School exponentially – especially when it comes to building relationships with alumni and friends. His command of national and global health issues, commitment to public health education, and collaborative spirit have made this School a phenomenal place – and is one of the main reasons we remain the #1 School of Public Health.
It has been a pleasure to work with Mike and watch him enhance relationships with each and every one of you. To show our support for Mike and the School, please join me in giving back.
Your gift is an investment in leaders of public health – like Mike and you - who will carry on the School’s mission of saving lives, millions at a time! By giving to the area of greatest need, you are advocating for the School’s future – and allowing the School to continue investing in its students, faculty, and mission.
Please join me in giving today to say thank you to one of public health’s great leaders.
Sending my very best,
Jimmie Lou DeBakey
