The Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health offers eleven graduate degrees (eight masters’ and three doctoral). While some degrees are interdepartmental or school-wide (such as the MPH, MAS, MAPHB and DrPH), other degree programs are offered by our ten academic departments (PhD, ScD, MHA, MHS, MSPH and ScM). Researching the programs and departments is essential to determining the program that best fits a student’s interests and goals and creating a successful application. A great way to help narrow down which degree program is the right one for you is by visiting campus, particularly during the Open House.
This year’s Open House will take place on Monday, October 8 from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. At the Open House, prospective students can meet with representatives from all the academic departments and degree programs as well as attend a program-specific break-out session. It’s also a great opportunity to learn about the services Student Affairs offers current students.
If you want to visit, but can’t attend the Open House, Admissions Services offers campus tours on select Fridays and virtual info sessions throughout the year. Or students can contact the office via email or phone at 410-955-3543.
