Beginning in June 2020, the Online/Part-time format of the MPH will allow for a 100% online format. Students may choose to complete the program on a part-time basis in person, partially online or completely online. Through recorded lectures, discussion boards and live chats, online students interact with their peers and professors to engage in public health discussions.

Students who wish to complete part or all the MPH curriculum in person, simply on a part-time basis, will still be able to do so. The only change to the Online/Part-time MPH program is the additional flexibility, which supports a goal of the Bloomberg School’s strategic plan to provide public health education options to public health professionals around the globe.

The application for the 2020-2021 academic year is now open. MPH applicants must have two years full-time post-baccalaureate, health related work experience OR a doctoral degree in a field underlying public health prior to starting the program. For more information on application requirements, review the MPH admissions webpage.
