Are you coming to Fall Orientation?*
As a follow-up to last week’s post about traffic, we wanted to remind you of the transportation options for coming to campus.
Hopefully, you have your air travel lined up, but if not, know that Baltimore Washington International (BWI) is the closest airport. From the airport, you may take a taxi, airport shuttle, Light Rail or train into the city.
Amtrak, MARC and Light Rail all stop at Baltimore’s Penn Station. From there, you may catch the JHU Shuttle. The shuttle is free to those with a JHU or JHMI badge. University guests may also ride, but may be asked to show a letter of intent.
Detailed information regarding parking during Orientation may be found on the Admitted Student website (login and password required).
Sheltered bike racks may be found in the deans' garage beneath the Wolfe Street building, accessible from Washington Street.
For more information on commuting to and from campus, see the Transportation pages under Student Life or the even more detailed “Getting Around” on the Admitted Student website (login and password required).
See you later this week!
*Orientation is for admitted students who replied positively to their offer of admission and completed an enrollment form. Space is limited and the event is not appropriate for prospective students and/or guests.
