The Master of Applied Science in Humanitarian Health is a fully online degree program offered by the Bloomberg School of Public Health, in collaboration with the Johns Hopkins Center for Humanitarian Health. Designed for working professionals interested in a graduate-level degree, the MAS in Humanitarian Health will focus on specialized education and research as well as practical skills needed for work in the humanitarian health field. FINANCIAL AID AND TUITION - SCHOLARSHIPS FOR 2020 APPLICANTS
The OPAL Scholarship - All students enrolled in an OPAL MAS or Certificate program will be awarded this scholarship. This scholarship provides a specific amount per academic credit each year, to be determined each spring when new tuition rates are published for the upcoming year. This scholarship is designated for tuition costs only and is disbursed incrementally for each credit taken towards required coursework. Your admission application also serves as your OPAL Scholarship application; therefore, no additional forms are required. The MAS in Humanitarian Health does have additional scholarship funding available for eligible applicants from Low- and Middle-Income Countries. Funding for this scholarship is offered by the Center for Humanitarian Health; please refer to their website for additional information regarding scholarship eligibility, and relevant deadlines for submission of applications.

The Bloomberg School of Public Health is responding to the increasing demands for leadership and expertise in the field of humanitarian health.
The online Master of Applied Science in Humanitarian Health prepares future leaders to address the large-scale public health, science and health service challenges experienced in humanitarian and disaster settings. Students go on to fulfill vital roles as public health practitioners, researchers, program directors, scholars and policy makers.
