Be an honest broker of public health information

Implementation Progress

Be an honest and nonpartisan broker of public health information and convene inclusive and open discourse about major public health issues that can inform our science and the translation of the science into programs and policy.

VISION

Our goal is to be an honest and nonpartisan broker of public health information and to convene inclusive and open discourse about major public health issues that can inform our science and the translation of the science into programs and policy. We intend to critically evaluate our communications strategies and to recommend ways to improve the proactive dissemination of information that can form the basis of sound and rational decision making. We will design and deploy new mechanisms and strategies for strengthening civic engagement and inclusive dialogue around public health issues at home and worldwide, giving voice to marginalized communities and creating space for community mediation and dialogue. Our platform provides us the opportunity to convene experts and opinion leaders on critical health issues at external-facing events, to include in-person lectures as well as virtual events and podcasts.
