The Research-In-Progress seminar series was created to meet the needs of masters and doctoral degree students with advisors in the Welch Center. Discussions address career development topics such as developing an important research question, how to work with a mentor, and how to review and publish manuscripts. Research-in-Progress also provides the perfect opportunity for trainees to learn about their colleagues' work. Degree candidates give a presentation of their research at each meeting. Students receive early faculty feedback on research projects and gain confidence delivering research presentations. *Master's and doctoral students in the clinical epidemiology and cardiovascular epidemiology concentrations are required to attend.
