Welch Center Seminars

Opportunities for intellectual engagement at the Center include formal conferences, journal clubs and research-in-progress sessions geared to students, and interest group seminars designed around a particular theme.

Journal clubs and seminars, meeting weekly or monthly during the academic year, are also platforms for discussion and learning. Journal clubs keep trainees informed of current research, help develop critical thinking, encourage faculty-student interactions at an informal level, and give opportunities for trainees to present articles of interest.
