NIH Changes Forms and Instructions for FY2011 Funding Submissions

On September 16, 2009, the NIH alerted researchers to upcoming changes in the application form and instructions for funding submissions for FY2011. These forms, as well as those for resubmission of amended applications will be streamlined.

James F. Hyde, PhD, Senior Advisor, Career Development (“K” awards) & Diabetes Centers Programs at NIDDK issued the following message with a link to the full notice:

NIH will soon implement a shortened and restructured application format for submissions for FY2011 funding (beginning with application due dates on or after January 25, 2010).   Please note that resubmission (amended) applications will also use the shortened format beginning with application due dates on or after January 25, 2010, even if the original application used the current longer application format (i.e. 25 pages).  See NIH Guide Notice below for details.
