 The Welch Center congratulates Dr. Lisa Cooper on her promotion to full professor! Dr. Cooper is an internationally regarded expert in research related to health disparities, patient-centered care, and physician-patient communication. She is also a highly regarded research mentor who has trained pre-doctoral and post-doctoral scholars in the Schools of Medicine and Public Health. Her institutional accomplishments include extensive work as Chair of the Department of Medicine’s Diversity Council. Congratulations, Dr. Cooper!
