 Welch Center Core Faculty member Edgar (Pete) Miller, II, MD, PhD, has been awarded an R0-1 Research Project Grant from the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute of the National Institutes of Health to fund his research project, “Dietary carbohydrate and glycemic index effects on oxidation, inflammation and kidney function.” The grant will support the project for the next four years.
