 The Welch Center's Jeanne Clark, MD, MPH, recently received one of three "Obesity Research Awards for Outstanding Journal Research" at the national meeting of NAASO (North American Association for the Study of Obesity) in Vancouver. These awards recognize exemplary research in basic, clinical, or population manuscripts published in Obesity Research. Dr. Clark received the award for clinical research she conducted for a paper entitled: "Roux-en-Y Gastric Bypass Improves Liver Histology in Patients with Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease."
