Celebration for Dr. Larry Appel's Installation as Welch Center Director,

Dr. Weisfeldt thanks GIM Divisional Director, Dr. Fred
Brancati, for serving as interim director during
the 18-month search for the new director

Then Dr. Michael Klag, Dean of the Bloomberg School of
Public Health and a Welch Center faculty member,
expresses his congratulations to Dr. Appel

As usual, Dean Klag amuses the audience, now with recollections
of working with Dr. Appel in the Welch Center

Finally, Dr. Appel expresses his vision for
the Welch Center over the next few years
