Step Care Plans

At the Johns Hopkins Weight Management Center, our treatment team works with you to select a personalized management program that fits your individualized needs and preferences. Each program will help you make changes in diet, exercise and behavior in order to manage your weight.

Before your initial assessment, print and complete the Pre-Assessment Questionnaire. Bring it with you to your assessment.

Various treatment plans offered by the Johns Hopkins Weight Management Center are outlined below:

Once the medically monitored phase of treatment begins, the cost of treatment is $80 each week, which includes group and physician visits.  Meal replacements are individually priced.
Essentials

  • Minimum 1200 Calories/day
  • Individually designed, food-based plan
  • May incorporate up to 4 meal replacements per day if desired
  • Initial Assessments
  • Weekly support group
  • Regular follow-ups with clinicians according to individual need
  • No medical monitoring unless requested

Follow-up appointments with dietitian, exercise specialist and psychology staff range from $50 - $135 each, depending upon session length. Cost of food/meal replacement supplements varies, depending on type and amount used. Appointments with our physician are optional, but available if desired.
