Fellowship Programs: Johns Hopkins provides a variety of fellowship opportunities for both pre- and postdoctoral students. Courses in Urban Health and Development: This compendium of courses represents classes offered throughout the undergraduate and graduate campuses relevant to urban health and development. Student Outreach Resource Center (SOURCE): This Center serves as a channel for student, faculty and staff involvement with community organizations and local projects. It has a particular, but not exclusive focus on East Baltimore neighborhoods in close proximity to the Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions campus. Baltimore Projects: This section, available due to generous support from the Macht Foundation, provides an urban resource catalog containing Hopkins faculty and student projects in Baltimore City. Baltimore City Statistics: This section contains information on where to find a variety of health-related statistics specific to Baltimore City. Best Practices Monograph (coming soon) East Baltimore Literature Review (coming soon): Over 300 articles about the health of populations in Baltimore have been reviewed and will be available in an online database which can be used to discover what research has taken place and where there may be gaps. |
