Application Procedures

ONLINE APPLICATION

If you are NOT ENROLLED IN A DEGREE PROGRAM at JHSPH, and applying to Summer Institute for the first time, please use the continuing education online application.

If you are not a current degree candidate at JHSPH and attended the Summer Institute in 2010 or 2011, log directly into ISIS https://isis.jhu.edu (If you do not remember your ISIS ID, please send a message to Continuing Education and Student Services. )

If you are CURRENTLY ENROLLED IN A DEGREE PROGRAM at JHSPH and are registering for academic credit, please register for courses through ISIS https://isis.jhu.edu as you normally would for regular term.

If you are currently in a degree program at JHSPH and are registering for non-credit courses for the first time, please use the continuing education online application. If you took a non-credit course in 2010 or 2011, you’ll be able to register for non-credit course through ISIS.

You will receive an email confirmation of your courses from the Graduate Summer Institute of Epidemiology and Biostatistics.  If you do not receive confirmation within in 48 hours, please contact us at summerepi@jhsph.edu  

Housing: The Epi/Biostat  Institute offers campus housing at the JHU Homewood Campus. If you require housing, please email us at summerepi@jhsph.edu.


Space permitting, applications are accepted until the start of class. Students are strongly encouraged to register by June 15, 2012 to ensure receiving course confirmation and to avoid cancellations. All applications must be accompanied by payment in full, or a non-refundable $125 deposit. Payment may be made by credit card, check, training nomination, purchase order, tuition remission forms or other payment documents.

The Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health accepts American Express, MasterCard, Visa, and Discover. Full-time university faculty, staff, and eligible dependents may enroll in courses under the terms of the Hopkins Tuition Remission Program. Click here for information on tuition remission. The tuition remission form is available here. JHU SOM graduate students, medical students and post doctoral fellows should contact the JHU SOM Registrar's office for information on tuition support. Please complete and download the Application to your computer. (Adobe Reader. Free download here.)  Complete all sections of the application. Be sure to indicate whether or not academic credit is requested. Please note carefully the schedule of courses and avoid selecting courses that are offered simultaneously. Applicants will be informed of the status of their application in writing. Completed applications may be sent to us by email summerepi@jhsph.edu; or by  Fax: 443-287-8757.
