
2008 GRADUATE CHECKLIST Don't forget to review this list before you graduate! Click here to view. REGALIA DISTRIBUTION Regalia will arrive on campus for distribution on April 29 and 30, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. **Our regalia distribution room has changed. Regalia distribution will be held in the Anna Baetjer Room on the first floor of the Wolfe Street building. (W1030)** Tickets will also be distributed at this time. CONVOCATION CEREMONY The Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health's graduation ceremony, which is called the Convocation Ceremony, will be held Wednesday, May 21, 2008, at 2:00 p.m. at the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall in downtown Baltimore. Convocation will conclude at approximately 4:30 p.m. Master's degree students will receive their diplomas and will be recognized individually at Convocation. Doctoral students will receive their diplomas at Commencement. Guest seating is by ticket only. Students will receive their tickets and their rental regalia in April. Guests should plan to arrive in time to be seated in the Meyerhoff no later than 1:45 p.m. Directions to the Meyerhoff Symphony Hall and information about local restaurants and hotels are provided. For those interested in taking public transportation to the Meyerhoff Symphony Hall, please visit the MTA website for light rail, subway, bus and MARC train schedules. Students will begin receiving graduation information after the first of the year via email from the Office of Records and Registration. Students should keep their email addresses up-to-date and on file with the Office of Records and Registration and check their JHSPH email accounts periodically for announcements. Students may update their work and personal email accounts via the Internet by logging into https://isis.jhu.edu. COMMENCEMENT CEREMONY The University-wide graduation ceremony, called the Commencement Ceremony, will be held Thursday, May 22, 2008, and will begin promptly at 9:15 a.m. at Homewood Field, located next to University Parkway at the Homewood Campus. Doctoral students will receive their diplomas and will be recognized individually at Commencement. Master's graduates from all of the University's divisions are recognized as groups. Guest tickets are not required. Students should plan to arrive at Commencement by 8:00 a.m. with their regalia.
