To request an Academic Prospectus, please fill out the Prospectus Request Form. We accept online applications through the Apply Yourself System available on the Admissions website. The application fee is $45. When you start your application in Apply Yourself, you will create a PIN (personal identification number) and password which will allow you access to your application prior to and after submission. To check your status, simply log back into your application and scroll to the bottom of the page under “Application for Admission,” where the status is listed. Please send all supplemental application materials to Admissions Services at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, 615 N. Wolfe St., Suite E1002, Baltimore, MD 21205. Please refer to the application instructions for a complete listing of approved fee waiver requests and procedures. Please note that from the day we receive your final document completing your application, it will take a minimum of two weeks for your application to be processed by Admissions Services and sent to the department for review. Once your application is sent for review, please allow anywhere from 6-8 weeks for an admissions decision to be made on your application. You can check for updates by logging onto your online application. JHSPH does not accept transfer credits. Students may petition a department or program for a waiver of required courses, but a waiver does not exempt students from residency requirements or other academic requirements. We have a wide range of application deadlines per department and degree program, so it is essential for you to take note of which deadline pertains to you. Almost all of our degree programs require the GRE or a comparable test score [GMAT, LSAT, or MCAT] depending on the program area. The institutional code for Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health is 5352. We do not have a Schoolwide average for test scores or GPA. Your application will be reviewed and considered for admission by the departments in its entirety, not solely based on these factors. However, each department may have their own policies and regulations based on the application cycle. Please contact your department of interest for more information. Admissions Services offers guided tours on selected Fridays in every month. We also encourage you to contact the department of your interest to request meetings with faculty, staff and current students as well as inquire about visiting a class. |
