- Arrive early
- Dress professionally
- Research the organization(s) you plan to visit and prepare several questions
- Bring several copies of your resume and business cards, and be able to communicate clearly your background and interests
- On site: Introduce yourself to representatives, shake hands, and thank the representatives for coming
- Obtain a business card from agency representatives in order to write a thank you letter within 24 hours of the event
- Be enthusiastic!
