Career Services for Students

The Career Services Office provides individual career counseling for JHSPH students by appointment. Our career counselors can help you strategize career options, improve your resume or CV, prepare for an interview, give you salary negotiation techniques, and assist you with your search for a job or internship. JHSPHConnect is an online jobs database exclusively for JHSPH students. Log-in instructions can be found on the website's main page. Career Services has also compiled lists of job hunting websites and fellowships and internships popular with JHSPH students.

The Career Services Office provides a variety of career development workshops, information session and events throughout the course of each academic year. Our Career Planner is an essential tool for your job search. It details how to develop an eye-catching resume, write the perfect cover letter, prepare for a career fair, and more.  Also find useful career management modules to help you in your job search.

Each year, the Career Services Office hosts a Public Health Career Fair, which attracts representatives from dozens of public health employers and provides students with an opportunity to search for jobs and network with professionals in their field.
