The Johns Hopkins Center for STD for Research, Prevention and Training holds regular events throughout the year that are open to all members of the Johns Hopkins community. For the convenience of our faculty and students, we have also provided information on upcoming STD/HIV conferences.

The STD Reading group is held monthly on Thursdays from 5-6:30 pm in the Wolfe street building.

STD Seminars
The Center co-sponsors seminars with the Department of Population, Family and Reproductive Health, with some special topics throughout the year. Recent topics have included HPV epidemiology and the expansion of HIV testing in New York City. All seminars will be in W2030  from 12:15pm-1:30pm, unless otherwise noted on the PFRH website.  Center-sponsored seminar dates are November 14, December 19, January 30, February 6, and April 9. The full seminar schedule is maintained by the PFRH department.
