Local organizations contact SOURCE for volunteers to assist non-English and limited-English speakers here in Baltimore in-person, by phone, or for translating documents. Often, we receive last minute requests for urgent language volunteer needs. Please submit your information to the Language Volunteer Database so we can call upon you as needed. There are over 20 languages that are commonly requested. Potential language volunteer needs may include: translating at a public location, translating documents, important phone conversations, and more. This program will NOT offer medical translation services, as further certification requirements are required for such activities.
