Function of Organization/Site:
The mission of Stand Up For Kids is to help homeless and street kids.

Involvement Opportunities:

• Grant Writing
• Food/Clothing/Hygiene Drives
• Fundraising
• Outreach Counselor
• PR/Publications/Publicity
• Intramural Sports Assistance
• Tutoring
• Healthy Living Skills
• After school outreach program from 3  - 4 pm on Wednesdays
  

Volunteer Requirements

Volunteers must complete a Stand Up For Kids background check.

Meetings are held every 3rd Sunday of the month at 5 pm - Tremont Park Hotel, 7th Floor Conference Room at 8 East Pleasant Street.

We are currently in need of health professionals who are willing to speak about:
addiction and drug abuse
safe sex and STDs
HIV/AIDS and all other health topics
