Function of Organization/Site:

  • To provide comprehensive after-school programs to community youths.
  • To help build future leaders by providing academic recreation and community service opportunities for middle school and high school youth.

Services offered:

  • Job readiness training
  • Internship and apprenticeship at local businesses
  • Leadership skills building
  • Artistic and cultural enrichment
  • Recreation
  • Community Service and economic opportunities

Involvement opportunities:

  • Tutoring
  • Planning youth programs
  • Coordinating volunteers
  • Coordinating parent program
  • Participating in recreational activities
  • Homework assistance
  • Field trip chaperones
  • Providing short 10 week programs on health-related topics
  • General program assistance (passing out snacks and greeting students at the door, etc.)

Middle school youth: 2:30 - 7:00 pm, Monday through Friday
High school youth:   4:30 - 7 pm, Monday through Friday
