Book Bank
The Baltimore Reads Book Bank has provided more than 1,000,000 new and gently used children’s books to disadvantaged families in Baltimore since 1992.  The Book Bank  provides free books to children, families, and schools to foster and develop an intergenerational love for reading and lifelong learning.  Annually, we host Books for Kids Day.  At this event the Book Bank collects thousands of donated books from donors all over Maryland.  Our Book Bank continues to welcome K-12 teachers who are in need of reading material to enhance the classroom experience for their students.

Volunteers are needed to sort, sticker, and shelve new or gently uised children's books for teachers and nonprofits in the Baltimore area.
