Function of Organization/Site:

Habitat rehabilitates and builds houses in partnership with the homeowners using mostly volunteer labor and private funding, selling the completed homes at cost to low-income families.

September 2009 Opportunities:
Chesapeake Habitat for Humanity has several build days taking place in Baltimore City during the month of September. They are in need of non-construction volunteers to assist with each day.  Volunteer opportunities include assistance with registration, food service, and more. For more information, click here.
