Function of Organization:

Assist and empower people in economic need, provide prevention services, and protect vulnerable children and adults 


Services and Programs:

  • Temporary Cash Assistance (TCA)
  • Food Stamps
  • Child Care Program (Purchase of Care – POC)
  • Foster Care Services (FCS)
  • Adoption Services
  • Intake & Assessment
  • Medical Assistance (MA)
  • Homeless Emergency Environmental Services (HEESU)
  • Project Home
  • Social Services to Adults (SSTA)
  • Adult Protective Services (APS)


Volunteer Opportunities:

  • Address health disparities
  • Talk to customer base within any of our 8 Family Investment Centers and/ or 1 mobile team that provides on-going outreach
  • Educate population on public assistance
  • Work directly with individuals at high risks for exercising bad health habits
  • No specific time commitments 

        
Days of the Week for Volunteers:  

  • Monday – Sunday
  • Morning, Afternoon, Evening and
    Special Events Hours
