Function of Organization/ Site:

Provide quality healthcare and end-of-life services with compassion and innovation
Foster dignity and independence

Involvement Opportunities:

Work with hospice patients and families in the home setting and in long-term care facilities.

Volunteers are assigned to families close to their own homes.  Hospice volunteering is one of the most rewarding ways for an individual to work within the community.  Volunteers provide much-needed respite to family caregivers of home bound terminally ill patients. Compassionate volunteers provide companionship, a listening ear, and a loving heart to terminally ill patients.

Volunteers are also needed in the office to assist the Bereavement Coordinator.
