Function of Organization/ Site:

To work with Latino and other low-income immigrant communities to improve the quality of life and fight for equal treatment and full access to resources and opportunities; to advocate for social, political and economic justice for all low-income communities.

Involvement Opportunities:

  • Legal workshops & referral services
  • Various workshops – based on needs assessments
  • ESOL classes
  • Case management assistance
  • Health policy issues
  • Screening and testing

Requirements for Volunteers:

  • Spanish speakers are very helpful
  • Orientation given for specific training needs
