Functions of Organization/Site:

The Julie Community Center is a multi-purpose, non-profit community organization involved in advocacy, education, and organizing, with special dedication to the poor.

Provides after school program, youth enrichment and summer camp program from children ages 6-12.

Provides leadership workshops and public health projects for teens.

Volunteer opportunities:

  • Grant writing
  • Fundraising
  • Companionship/Visitor/Personal Care
  • Tutoring/Mentoring
  • Program Design/Program Evaluation

  • Reading/Literacy
