Function of Organization:

To enhance the safety of children by providing fun, interactive education and affordable safety products to the Baltimore community.

Background:

The CARES Safety Center started in July, 2004 and regularly visits the East Baltimore Medical Center (EBMC). EBMC is located at 1000 East Eager Street in Baltimore. The CARES Safety Center is also available to visit local elementary schools, places of worship, shopping centers, health fairs and community events.

The CARES Safety Center staff lead visitors through many fun exhibits about home and traffic safety, answer questions, and connect visitors to community resources.

Location:

We are within walking distance of the JHSPH, SON, and SOM
When exiting from Monument St, walk to N. Broadway, make a left onto Broadway.
We are located in the Hampton House, which is located on the corner of Monument St. and N. Broadway

  • FREE car seat checks/installation
