Are you interested in working with community-based organizations in Baltimore? SOURCE (Student OUtreach Resource CEnter) recruits students, faculty, and staff from the Johns Hopkins University Schools of Medicine, Nursing, and Public Health to serve over 100 local agencies throughout Baltimore. Here are some things to do in order to "get involved." Review our Top Ten Tips to "Volunteering Sensibly." These tips will give you some things to think about in terms of your service - who you want to serve, your time, etc... - If you are looking for an on-going or short-term service experience, review our directory of community-based organizations. These groups are looking for volunteers to complete projects or to serve on a regular schedule.
- If you don't have time to commit to a regular volunteer position, search our listings of upcoming events.
- If you can't find something that interests you, contact the center to discuss your options. The staff is happy to explore other options for committed students.
