Enrichment ProgramIn addition to receiving a world-class education, Hopkins Sommer Scholars participate in the Enrichment Program. This series of co-curricular activities is specially designed to develop the Scholars' personal skills, foster collaboration and build a network of contacts they can draw upon throughout their careers. Activities focus on skill-building, understanding leadership, teamwork, social networking and community service through interdisciplinary, interactive and innovative approaches.
"The enrichment Program provided opportunities to interact with leaders who are practicing public health using diverse approaches like political action, media, advocacy and policymaking. I also learned how these approaches interface to create a cohesive strategy for change. Seeing professional leaders in action was an inspirational sight." - Anand Bang, MBBS, MPH '09 |
