SHALE D. STILLER is a partner at the law firm of DLA Piper LLP. Recently, he concluded a five-year term as president of the Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Foundation, where he is credited with making major changes in the Foundation’s professional structure, grant review process, and opening up the Foundation to the community as a much more visible, available and engaged foundation. He is a trustee of the Johns Hopkins University and Johns Hopkins Medicine, of which he is also a board vice chairman. He is president of the Leonard and Helen R. Stulman Charitable Foundation and the Charles Crane Family Foundation. He has been a faculty member at the University of Maryland School of Law for 46 years, and he is an active member of the American Law Institute and a frequent lecturer and writer on legal topics.
