MICHAEL J. SILVER is a member of the Hogan Lovells Board and practices in the areas of corporate and securities, and general business law. A significant part of his practice includes general corporate and securities law reporting and compliance advice to a number of public and private companies. He also provides legal counsel in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, private equity investing and corporate restructuring. Mr. Silver has represented issuers and underwriters on a large number of public and private securities offerings, and he has extensive experience in a wide variety of public and private mergers and acquisitions, corporate organization and governance issues, structured finance transactions, and general securities law advice to public companies. His experience involves manufacturing, technology, insurance, health care, biotechnology and consumer businesses.
