MORRIS W. OFFIT is chairman of Offit Capital Advisors and chairman of the firm's Investment Committee.

From 2002 to June 2007, Mr. Offit was the co-chief executive officer of Offit Hall Capital Management LLC. Prior to that time he was founder and CEO of Offitbank, a wealth management private bank, which merged with Wachovia Bank in 1999.

Mr. Offit began his career in 1960 at Mercantile Safe Deposit and Trust Company in Baltimore in
investment research. He joined Salomon Brothers in 1969 and for ten years was a general partner, establishing the Stock Research Department with subsequent responsibility for fixed income and equity sales.

Mr. Offit received a bachelor of arts from the Johns Hopkins University in 1957 and a master of business administration from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in 1960. He was the recipient of an Honorary Degree of Doctor of Humane Letters from the Johns Hopkins University in 1996. In 1983 he served as adjunct professor of Finance at the Columbia Graduate School of Business, lecturing on the secondary capital markets.

Mr. Offit completed a three-year term as president of UJA-Federation of New York in 2007. He is a trustee of the Jewish Museum, the American Museum of Natural History and Johns Hopkins University where he served as chairman from 1990 to 1996. In April 2005, Mr. Offit was elected a director of American International Group, Inc. (“AIG”).
